The 2011 Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition features work by six artists in the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Department of Art graduate program: Amanda Nicholas (drawing), Andrew Etheridge (sculpture), Isabelle Abbot (painting), Jody Christian (drawing), Jonathan Cobbs (painting/sculpture), and Maurice Moore (drawing).

The artists in this graduating class use a variety of media and focus on an array of issues. Their MFA exhibition demonstrates the energy and commitment of the artists, who engaged in numerous critiques by faculty, visiting artists, and their peers to develop significant bodies of work. We wish them success as they begin to navigate the greater landscape of the contemporary art world.

Please join us at the exhibition opening and public reception on Sunday, May 1 at 2pm.

We have six galleries located on the first and second levels of the museum, view our gallery map.
