Luca Buvoli: Adapting One's Senses to High Altitude Flying (for Intermediates)

  • Nov 9, 2003 – Feb 15, 2004
Installation view: Weatherspoon Art Museum, 2004.

To commemorate North Carolina's centennial anniversary of flight, artist Luca Buvoli will create a site-specific installation – from his ongoing project "Flying: Practical Training for Beginners (and Intermediates)" – for the Weatherspoon's atrium. Buvoli is well known for creating unique and intricate installations that explore one of man's most ancient desires – the ability to fly without aid or mechanical devices.

The exhibition will also feature one of Buvoli's films.

We have six galleries located on the first and second levels of the museum, view our gallery map.
