Advanced Searches allow you to query on the field or fields of your choice. Type what you want to find in the blank fields or click on the link beside the field to see a list of choices in the museum's collections. Press the Search button at the bottom of this page to run your query.

If you are unsure of a name or a term you can still search it by placing % before and after the word or phrase. For example if you remember that a title of an object contained the word "world" by searching for %world% you would bring up all works in the collection that have that as a part of its title.

Earliest Date	Equal to Greater than Greater than or equal to Less than Less than or equal to
Latest Date	Equal to Greater than Greater than or equal to Less than Less than or equal to     Enter dates in both the "low" and "high" fields to search a span of time or enter the same date in both fields to search a specific year.
Object Type	(select a term from the pop-up list on the right)	Choose an object type
Medium	(example: 'oil on canvas', 'granite')
Collection	(example: 'Cone', 'Dillard')	Choose a collection
ID Number	(unique number assigned by the museum to each piece, e.g. '1950.1092')
Description	(Any text from within the description, for example: 'glasses')
