Green Drinks Greensboro will host their monthly meet-up event at the Weatherspoon Art Museum at UNCG on August 25, from 5:30-6:30 pm. Enjoy light refreshments, network with others interested in all facets of the environment, and learn about Operation Bed Roll—a plastic-bag recycle project led by Tori Carle with the City of Greensboro.

Green Drinks Greensboro is for unwinding with friends and is a place to find out what others in our city are doing to be green, work green, play green, or live green. For more visit Green Drinks Greensboro on Facebook. All are welcome. Free.

The green fun continues at 6:30 pm as the 11th Annual UNCG Sustainability Film & Discussion Series kicks-off with Climate Stories NC—a selection of new short films about ordinary North Carolinians affected by climate change. These and other films that address the environment and sustainability issues will be shown monthly at the Weatherspoon Art Museum.
