Enjoy warm summer evenings while taking in the latest exhibitions with one of our excellent tour guides. Then cool off with summer treats in the museum's Sculpture Garden. Guided 30-minute tours begin in the museum lobby and are appropriate for all ages. No reservations are necessary, but if your group is larger than 10, please let us know by calling 336-334-5770 or emailing weatherspoon@uncg.edu. Free.

Thursdays this summer:

Thursday June 14:
In Doug Aitken's 24 minute video migration (empire), watch what happens when the animal and human worlds collide. Afterwards, enjoy treats and make a Hanimal using your own hand and non-toxic water soluble materials.

Thursday July 12
Join the Greensboro Science Center for a closer look at one of today's biggest science fields—nanoscience! Nanometer-sized things are very small, and often behave differently than larger things do. Hands-on activities will introduce you to this super-small world. Featured exhibition: Extreme Measures.

Thursday August 9
UNCG's Michel Family Teaching Resources Center visits WAM with their new mobile Icicle Tricycle, a vehicle for taking books and stories on the road.

Summer Tours & Treats is made possible with generous support from Lincoln Financial Foundation.
