Enjoy an afternoon and evening of continuous story-telling hosted by the UNCG Humanities Network & Consortium in TWO locations:

  • 12:00-4:30 pm at Weatherspoon Art Museum, UNCG
  • 5:00-9:00 pm at Scuppernong Books, 304 S. Elm Street, Greensboro

At WAM, hear fairy tales from around the world in their original language and in translation read by UNCG students and faculty. At Scuppernong Books, listen to family-friendly fairy tales from 5:00-7:00 pm or explore the darker side of the classic tales with Fairy Tales After Dark from 7:00-9:00 pm. Both events are free to the public.

Dread & Delight public programs are sponsored in part by the UNCG School of Art; Department of Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies; and Department of Literatures, Languages, and Cultures. Additional support comes from Elon University and Lincoln Financial Foundation.
