Sculpture Garden at the Weatherspoon Art Museum is open during museum hours.
Embellished with natural plantings, flowering shrubs and cozy seating, the Weatherspoon’s brick-paved garden features 7000 sq ft for the display of sculpture from the permanent collection. Easily accessible to adjacent visitor parking, the sculpture garden showcases work by modern and contemporary artists that range stylistically from geometric abstraction to life-like figurative representations. Work by historically significant artists such as Elie Nadelman, George Rickey and Richard Hunt converse with contemporary objects by Deborah Butterfield, Antony Gormley and Dan Graham.
